US community banks get a subsidised route to OpenAI's cyber tools
The Independent Community Bankers of America and OpenAI announced an alliance giving eligible member banks a path to Daybreak for Frontline Defenders, OpenAI's package for defensive security work such as vulnerability validation, threat investigation and remediation support, with subsidised access and training from OpenAI staff. ICBA will also run AI Show-n-Tell sessions for members. Both sides framed the deal as widening defensive capability beyond banks with large technology budgets.
