Spain’s economy expands 0.7% in the second quarter
Spain’s statistics institute reported that GDP increased 0.7% quarter on quarter in the second quarter of 2026, one tenth faster than in the first quarter. Annual growth held at 2.6%, with domestic demand contributing positively while external demand made a negative contribution.
