Xiaomi launches MiMo-V2.6 Pro and Flash multimodal models with a one-million-token context window
Xiaomi released its MiMo-V2.6 multimodal family on Wednesday via B.AI, offering a one-million-token context length and joint text, image, video and audio understanding for both models. The flagship MiMo-V2.6-Pro carries 1.02 trillion total parameters with 42 billion active in a sparse Mixture-of-Experts layout, positioned for repository-scale software engineering, while MiMo-V2.6-Flash has 309 billion total and 15 billion active parameters, optimised for high-throughput office automation. The release lands amid fresh questions about cross-vendor AI supply-chain risk.
