Brent settles at $103.87 and WTI at $100.30 as Saudi East-West pipeline restart eases supply fears
Brent crude settled at $103.87 a barrel on Friday, down 0.91 percent, and West Texas Intermediate closed at $100.30, down 1.58 percent, as traders priced in progress on restoring flows through Saudi Arabia's damaged East-West Pipeline. Brent touched an intraday low of $101.92 and WTI bottomed at $99.39 before recovering, with both staying above $100 and posting their first weekly decline in three weeks. Capital Economics warned oil could remain in triple digits well into 2027 if the Middle East conflict drags on.
