Apple sets unified EU app terms and revises commission structure
Apple announced a single set of business terms for developers distributing apps in the European Union, effective 1 October. Under the plan, its per-install Core Technology Fee gives way to a 5% charge on qualifying digital sales made through software obtained beyond the App Store.
