Mexico end a winless window as Chile win 2-0 in Los Angeles
Chile beat Mexico 2-0 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on October 6, leaving Rafael Marquez without a win in his first four matches in charge. Maximiliano Gutierrez opened the scoring in the 54th minute and Vicente Pizarro doubled the lead eleven minutes later after Chile pressed a loose pass. Mexico had drawn with Colombia and Peru and lost 3-0 to the United States earlier in the window. Marquez's side next face Jamaica in the Concacaf Nations League quarter-finals.
