Aubameyang at 37 becomes the oldest 21st-century player to score in each of his first four La Liga matches

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the winner at the Estadio de la Cerámica after a goal and two assists against Villarreal, taking his Deportivo La Coruña tally to four goals in four La Liga appearances since joining from Olympique Marseille for €1.6 million. At 37 years and 79 days, the Gabon striker became the oldest player since 2000 to register a goal contribution in each of his first four Spanish top-flight appearances for a new club, surpassing Fernando Morientes' 30-year-old mark from 2006-07 at Valencia. Deportivo's 'Super Dépor' sit fourth on eight points and unbeaten.
