Ballon d'Or 2026 names 30-man shortlist across men's, women's and club awards
France Football unveiled the full 2026 Ballon d'Or shortlists on Tuesday, September 8, with announcements running between 11:00 and 16:00 CET across the official Ballon d'Or platforms. The men's and women's Ballon d'Or each carry 30 names, supported by shortlists of 10 men's and 5 women's Young Talent, Goalkeeper, Striker, Club and Coach of the Year candidates. Voting now shifts to an international journalist jury ahead of the October 26 ceremony in London, the first Ballon d'Or gala held outside Paris.
