Moonshot AI's Kimi K3.1 Pro scores 55 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, an 11-point jump on K3 that puts the Chinese model fourth behind Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Muse Wonder Full. If Moonshot publishes the weights as planned by 4 November, it would be the strongest open-weights model available and cut the open-to-proprietary gap from 12 points to three. It keeps 2.8 trillion parameters, 104 billion of them active, and a million-token context.
