Liverpool take an unbeaten European record into Villarreal visit
Liverpool host Villarreal at Anfield on Tuesday missing Jeremie Frimpong, Conor Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai, with the defence the obvious concern. Liverpool have won both European matches this season, including a 6-3 victory at LASK, while Villarreal beat Napoli 3-1 for their first Champions League win in 12 attempts. Manchester City, beaten 4-2 by PSG last week, host an AEK Athens side that lost 3-1 at Shakhtar Donetsk.
