Harvard demonstrates an autonomous robot built entirely from soft parts
Harvard researchers describe an untethered, autonomous soft robot made with 3D-printed components, pneumatic actuation and a chemical power source. The octobot does not solve general robotics, but it demonstrates how power, control and movement can be integrated without conventional rigid electronics.
