Liverpool wait on Isak, Gakpo and Szoboszlai before Brentford
Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola said it is still too early to rule Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai out of Saturday's Premier League trip to Brentford after all three missed the defeats by Manchester City and the midweek Champions League win at LASK. All three returned from international duty with fitness issues and none was ready for the European fixture, though Iraola left the chance of a return open. Ryan Gravenberch is suspended, and centre-back Giovanni Leoni's comeback from a complex knee injury has been pushed back by about a month to the next international break.
