Anthropic tells pre-IPO investors quarterly revenue reached $16.8bn
Anthropic told prospective investors at a pre-IPO meeting in San Francisco that third-quarter revenue rose 45 percent from the prior quarter to $16.8 billion, up from $11.6 billion in the second quarter and $4.7 billion in the first, attendees said. The company also said it was profitable on an adjusted basis and cash-flow positive. The growth still decelerated from earlier in 2026, and analysts who met executives put a possible year-end annual run rate near $110 billion. The listing, expected before a comparable move by OpenAI, may slip past November's US midterms.
