Chelsea rout Bournemouth as Henderson rewrites an age record
Chelsea scored twice inside the opening three minutes and beat Bournemouth 5-1 at Stamford Bridge on 11 October. Jordan Henderson opened the scoring in the second minute, helped set up another, and finished the rout with a curling free kick; at 36 he became the oldest player directly involved in three or more Premier League goals since Cristiano Ronaldo in April 2022. Joao Pedro scored either side of half-time, and the win lifted Chelsea to fifth place on 10 points.
