Nvidia commits $1bn over five years to US science under the Genesis Mission
Nvidia said on October 8 it will commit $1 billion over five years to US research, quantum computing and cloud providers serving government missions, as part of the White House's Genesis Mission programme. The same day the administration listed a wider $2.4 billion package of science tools and compute credits from eleven partners, including AMD, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS and Micron. Nvidia said it will also take part in phase-two Genesis Mission awards covering quantum, fusion and microelectronics.
