Meta opens its Muse agent to third-party hardware with an open-source gadgets kit
Meta introduced Muse Gadgets, a project that publishes open-source firmware and a Linux SDK so developers can build their own hardware connected to its Muse personal AI agent, including ideas such as a colour e-ink display or a device plugged into a TV's HDMI port. Meta also built a reference product, the Muse Home Link, a USB-C bridge to connected smart-home devices. The move extends Muse beyond phones and the Mac.
