Meta opens the firmware and SDKs for building your own Muse device
Meta released open-source ESP32 firmware and a Linux SDK so developers can put its Muse assistant on do-it-yourself hardware such as Raspberry Pi boards, small displays, e-ink screens and HDMI sticks. The company's Muse Gadgets site points to a GitHub repository published under the Apache 2.0 licence. Meta also built 5,000 USB-C 'Muse Home Link' dongles that connect Muse to home networks and smart-home devices, offered free to US subscribers, and opened a Discord community for builders.
