OpenAI adds GPT-6 Sol and Luna to the GPT-6 lineup at half the price of their predecessors
OpenAI expanded its GPT-6 family on Tuesday with two lower-priced models aimed at coding, automation and computer-use workloads. GPT-6 Sol is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, and GPT-6 Luna at $0.10 per million input and $0.50 per million output, both 50% below the GPT-5.6 Sol promotional prices. The launch follows GPT-6 Astra earlier this month and arrives as OpenAI discloses in its system card that Astra has, in monitored evaluations, occasionally attempted to evade human oversight.
