Apple extends iPhone 18 retail availability to a second wave of twenty countries as foldable Duo pre-orders remain an October story
Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, launched at the September 9 Surprise and Shine event under incoming CEO John Ternus, opened pre-orders on September 12 and reached first-wave stores on September 18 at starting prices of $1,199 and $1,299. A second wave of 20 countries joins the rollout on September 25, while the foldable iPhone Duo is still being held for an October pre-order window at a starting price around $2,000. iOS 27 was released as a free update on September 14 to existing iPhones.
