Anthropic says Claude now leads 26 percent of its internal AI research and development work
Anthropic disclosed on Thursday that Claude "leads" 26 percent of the artificial intelligence research and development work inside the company, part of a new set of measures the lab said it will publish regularly to give outsiders visibility into how quickly AI is helping build its own successors. AI also collaborated with humans on more than 90 percent of Anthropic's research work as of August, the company said. Anthropic stressed Claude is not operating fully autonomously in any measured part of its pipeline.
