Brentford thrash Chelsea 3-0 in west London derby to set club-record Premier League start
Brentford beat Chelsea 3-0 at Gtech Community Stadium on Friday night, with Jaidon Anthony heading in from a Damsgaard corner on 61 minutes, Igor Thiago converting a rebound on 80 minutes and substitute Fabio Carvalho completing the scoring in stoppage time. The result gave Brentford their best-ever five-game start to a Premier League season with nine points, surpassing the previous best of eight from 2021-22, and extended their unbeaten home league run to eight matches.
