Anthropic picks Accenture as first embedded AI safety evaluator with $2 billion commitment
Anthropic named Accenture its first embedded AI safety evaluator on Friday, with each company pledging at least $1 billion over five years to build frontier-model evaluation capacity, led by Accenture's Faculty AI division. Anthropic said Accenture staff will work inside the company on alignment assessments and red-teaming, addressing a step in CEO Dario Amodei's three-part plan to slow frontier AI development. Accenture's shares jumped about 8 percent in after-hours trading on the announcement.
