Anthropic ships Claude in Chrome to all paid plans, adds Cowork browser
Anthropic made Claude in Chrome generally available across Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans on August 26 with a classifier that approves safe actions automatically and added a separate Chromium-based browser inside Claude Cowork so the agent can navigate pages without using the user's existing sessions. The Cowork browser ships to Pro, Max and Team this week on macOS, Windows and Linux, while Enterprise admins see both browser controls turn on by default from 10 September unless disabled. Banking, email and single-sign-on logins are excluded from credential imports by default.
