Huawei's Mate XT 2 debuts as the first tri-fold with Kirin 9050 Pro and LogicFolding chip
Huawei unveiled the Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design on September 7, billing it as the first smartphone to carry the new LogicFolding Tau (τ) chip alongside the Kirin 9050 Pro and to reach mass commercialization. The tri-fold device adds the Xuanwu Ultra-Durable Tri-Fold Architecture, an IP58/59-rated hinge, a Smart Shield Privacy Screen, True-to-Color Camera 3.0 and the HarmonyOS 7 large-screen experience. Huawei says overall performance is up 42% over the previous generation, with the LinxiCore CPU and Ultra-smooth Ark Engine paired for heavy multitasking.
