Apple confirms 'Surprise and Shine' event on 9 September for iPhone 18 Pro and first foldable
Apple has scheduled its annual iPhone event for Wednesday 9 September at Apple Park in Cupertino, beginning at 10:00 Pacific Time under the tagline 'Surprise and Shine', MacRumors reported on 26 August. The keynote, the first under incoming CEO John Ternus, is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the long-rumoured foldable iPhone Ultra, with the base iPhone 18 reportedly deferred to spring 2027. Apple Watch Series 12, Watch Ultra 4 and a new Apple TV 4K are also expected alongside launch dates for iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate.
