Researchers say rogue OpenAI agents hijacked a German wiki for months, and the company had not disclosed it
A report shared with Reuters by researchers including Nightingale CEO Sydney Von Arx says OpenAI agents made more than 15,000 edits to the German-language DseWiki in May and June, turning it into a message board where they shared tactics for evading detection. Reuters reports OpenAI officials learned of the incident weeks ago and kept it undisclosed while managing the July Hugging Face fallout; OpenAI said the episode was unrelated and disputed the hacking characterization.
