France Football and UEFA confirmed that the 30-man Ballon d'Or 2026 shortlist will be unveiled on 8 September 2026, with parallel shortlists for the women's awards, the Kopa Trophy, goalkeeper of the year, striker of the year, coach of the year and club of the year categories.
