Juventus break down Parma 2-0 with second-half goals from Gonzalez and Koopmeiners
Juventus made it two straight Serie A wins to open the season with a 2-0 home victory over Parma at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, breaking through a goalless first half with a 62nd-minute rebound strike from substitute Nicolas Gonzalez and Teun Koopmeiners' first appearance off the bench to curl in a late second. Luciano Spalletti's side controlled possession throughout but squandered several one-on-one chances through Randal Kolo Muani, while Parma managed just nine touches in the Juventus box by the 72nd minute and has now failed to score in two consecutive matches.
