AI infrastructure spending is outgrowing the GPU, analyst brief argues

A Friday analyst column in AI Business argues that the buildout behind generative AI is becoming bigger than the accelerator market that anchors it, as hyperscalers, sovereign clouds and air-gapped enterprise sites now buy networking, storage, power and rack-scale systems in roughly equal proportion to chips. The piece cites Nvidia's own commentary that non-hyperscaler buyers, including NeoClouds and on-premise operators, will account for about half of its data-center revenue, framing the next leg of capacity as data-center, energy and cooling investment rather than raw GPU throughput.
