IBM releases Granite 4.2 with native reasoning on Hugging Face
IBM published its Granite 4.2 large language models on Hugging Face under open weights, alongside a technical deep dive on how the models were built. The release adds a native reasoning capability tuned for enterprise agent workflows and is also available via Ollama and GitHub, with a separate Hypernova-60B model shipped at the same time.
